Yesterday, Steve got up, fed Ava, burped her, and walked around with her until she fell back asleep. The dog shit on the floor, because he doesn't like to go out in the cold. Steve, Sonya, and Ava all bundled up and went to the local police station to have their baby car seat checked out. It turned out that they were strapping Ava in too loosely, and the seat wasn't positioned right. They went home and had some lunch, then Ava and Steve went on a little outing to Sherway Gardens Mall in Etobicoke. They had a good time enjoying the splendors of the mall. Steve got a bite to eat at the food court, which featured food from around the world. He had Greek. Then he went into a gaming store and wondered if Ava will want to play Axis and Allies with him when she is a teenager. He guessed not; they'll play Monopoly. Steve fed Ava and then went to Sears where he returned a gift and bought the little lady a rocking chair. He headed home where he played a little Medal of Honor, took a nap, had a sandwich and soup for dinner, and watched the BBC news. Ava had a rough evening: lots of crying, wouldn't settle down. Finally, while Steve and Sonya were watching the Daily Show, Ava had a loud explosive bowel movement and then quickly fell asleep.
